Marble
Marble is mostly composed of limestone that has been put under extreme pressure.
The colour of marble is determined by the level of impurities
Marble containing
- Hematite has a reddish colour
- Limonite is yellow
- Serpentine is green
Marble Care
Marble is not as durable as granite it is softer and is less stain resistant and needs to be treated more like a fine piece of wood.
Any spills should be wiped immediately.
Marble is especially susceptible to citric acid, alcohol and oil.
With simple care marble will last for generations . |
